Welcome in our cellars

In order to help harmonize your wines with a meal, and to furnish your cellar, Pierre Bourée Fils, owner and wine merchant and producer in Gevrey-Chambertin, is at your service.

Wine tasting table

When you taste a wine you must first appreciate the colour (robe) and then swirl the wine in your glass to release its aromas. Smell the wine. Then take a small amount into the mouth, roll it around the palate and at the same time, suck in some air, drawing it over the wine to release further aromas in the mouth, which will help you to define them.

Wine maturing and bottling

Our red wines stay a maximum of two years in cask before being bottled.
The bottling of the « grands vins » is carried out by hand in Gevrey-Chambertin.
The white wines bottling takes place after 14 to 16 months without fining ; it is carried out after a light filtering to avoid any cloudiness in the wine.

To complete the array of his estates, Pierre Bouree Fils buys grapes and musts for converting into wines itself and give the wines its personal brand over the course of their production.
